EPA Engineer Joins Electronic Recyclers As on-Site Director of Environmental Affairs

Electronic Recyclers, California's largest recycler of electronic waste, announced today that Tom Shinault, an industrial facility specialist and environmental engineer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has joined its staff as Director of Environmental Affairs.
Shinault was instrumental in providing emergency response planning for the EPA in the event of an environmental emergency and has assisted major oil companies to come into compliance with the Clean Water/Clean Air Act, and The Emergency Planning & Community Right-To-Know Act laws by establishing innovative inspection and planning strategies.

Shinault is a member of the California Hazardous Waste Association, California Water Pollution Control Association, Water Environment Federation, and the American Society for Testing and Materials.
Electronic Recyclers is the largest electronic recycling facility in the state that demanufactures, recycles and crushes the cathode ray tubes found in computer monitors, televisions and other types of video equipment.
