Fish and Game Stocking Report

May 16--Personnel from the Idaho Department of Fish and Game's Nampa Hatchery are releasing more than 51,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout at various locations this month. Because of high river flows, local ponds are the focus of this month's stocking efforts.

Below are the locations and the number of trout that will be stocked in each:

-- Bull Trout Lake 1,000

-- Caldwell Pond #1 500

-- Caldwell Pond #2 500

-- Duff lane Pond (Middleton) 500

-- Eagle Island Park Pond 1,000

-- Ed's Pond (Emmett) 250

-- Little Bull Trout Lake #1 250

-- Little Bull Trout Lake #2 250

-- Little Bull Trout Lake #3 250

-- Little Wood Reservoir 4,000

-- Lowman Ponds 1,500

-- Marsing Pond 500

-- McDevitt Pond (Meridian) 500

-- Merrill Pond (Eagle) 500

-- Mill Pond (Horseshoe Bend) 500

-- Parkcenter Pond (Boise) 1,000

-- Payette Lake, Little (McCall) 20,000

-- Payette Pond 500

-- Quinn's Pond (Boise) 500

-- Riverside Pond (Boise) 500

-- Rotary Pond (Caldwell) 500

-- Sagehen Reservoir 4,000

-- Sawyer's Ponds 1,000

-- Settler's Pond (Meridian) 500

-- Veteran's Park Pond (Boise) 1,000

-- Visitor Center Pond (Idaho City) 250

-- Warm Lake 8,000

-- Wilson Spring (Nampa) 600

-- Wilson Spring Ponds (Nampa) 1,500

The number of trout actually released may be altered by weather, water conditions, equipment problems or schedule changes. If delays occur, trout will be stocked when conditions become favorable.
