EPA Extends Comment Period for Chevron Ground Water Cleanup Plan

CHICAGO, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 has extended the comment period for the Chevron cleanup project to Wednesday, June 14.
Residents are invited to share opinions on recommended options for cleaning up contaminated ground water at the Chevron Cincinnati Facility, Hooven, Ohio. Written comments on the proposed remedy and others under consideration can be sent to EPA in several ways:

EPA's proposal, called Statement of Basis for Ground Water, is available for review on EPA's Web site, at the Cincinnati Public Library-Miami Township Branch, 8 Miami Ave., Cleves, and EPA's Chicago office.
