Boarding School Helps Students Learn About Responsibilty Louisiana School Facts

Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts is in Natchitoches on the Northwestern State University Campus.
The state's only public boarding school offers a core curriculum in math, science, the humanities and the performing arts. It also includes college prepatory courses, electives and independent study.
The school was established by the Legislature in 1982. It serves artistic and high-achieving students.
Students from throughout the state apply as sophomores and attend as juniors and seniors.
