DEQ Public Comment Period Extended

Jun. 3–The public comment period on the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality’s proposed guidance for testing whether facilities that emit air pollution comply with state air-quality standards has been extended at public request through 5 p.m. Friday, July 7.
The “Source Test Guidance Manual” details the methods that DEQ recommends operators of air-pollution sources and their contractors follow when conducting tests on emissions.
The proposed manual is available for review on DEQ’s Web site at www.deq.idaho.gov/public/comment.cfm.
