Network Chemistry, the wireless security experts, announced today the appointment of Jeremy Bennett as vice president of engineering. Bennett brings over 13 years of engineering management, development, and architecture experience to Network Chemistry. He will be responsible for managing ongoing development of the company's integrated portfolio of automated wireless threat protection solutions, including all components of new product development for the RFprotect(TM) product portfolio and customer support.
"Network Chemistry has the right people and the right technology to drastically reduce the risk from wireless threats and ensure the secure deployment of wireless networks," said Bennett. "It's rare to find such a comprehensive set of solutions in one company, and I look forward to continuing the expansion of the RFprotect suite, which customers are quickly adopting."
Bennett joins Network Chemistry from Symantec, where he most recently was an architect for the network and gateway security product group and led the design and architecture of the Symantec Network Security (ManHunt) and Symantec Decoy Server (ManTrap) products. Prior to Symantec, he was an architect and manager for Recourse Technologies, where he played a key role in the design and development of Recourse's products and performed in-depth research in the areas of deception, intrusion detection, and computer forensics. Bennett has also held management, architecture, and development positions at Hewlett-Packard and Sega.com. He has extensive experience with computer security and enterprise software development, participates in numerous IDS committees and consortiums, and is a frequent speaker and author on security deployment methods and tactics.
"We're pleased to have a security product expert of Jeremy's caliber join Network Chemistry," said T. Paul Thomas, CEO of Network Chemistry. "His development and management experience will add to our position as wireless security technology innovators and help drive continued adoption of Network Chemistry's solutions. Enterprises and government organizations worldwide use the highly secure and easy to use RFprotect family of products to prevent data theft, meet compliance and regulatory mandates, and enforce security policies."
