(BULLETIN BOARD: WEGI) announced today the hiring of Stephen Hix as Senior Vice President, Special Projects and the hiring of Mr. Leo Melancon as its Vice President of Sales, Gulf Coast Region. Vice President of Sales, Gulf Coast Region is a newly created position specifically to develop clients in this section of the country.

Mr. Hix will be focusing on FEMA, OEM, DOD and DHS bid opportunities, as well as increasing awards under the Company's existing Basic Ordering Agreements with the US Coast Guard and US General Services Administration. Mr. Melancon is a successful entrepreneur. He built from the ground up and then sold his own multi-million dollar company in Louisiana. Leo has over thirty years of construction industry expertise and a lifetime of experience in southern hospitality.

The addition of Mr. Melancon and Mr. Hix are part of the company's continuing focus on the developing emergency response service market in both the public and private sectors.

Michael O'Reilly, Chairman and CEO of Windswept, stated, "As a result of Hurricane Katrina and the 9/11 attacks, the Federal Government has been allotting increasing funds to emergency response planning and securing in-place emergency response contracts. We believe that we can substantially increase our share of these contracts. Even a small increase in our share of the government emergency contract market, such as that might be afforded to us from better utilization of our existing BOA's, has the potential to dramatically impact revenues".

The Company has expertise in areas of fire and flood clean-up, oil spill and natural resource response, wildlife rehabilitation, hazardous materials remediation, testing, toxicology, training, technical advisory and site renovation.
