Western Illinois awards degrees to area residents

BLOOMINGTON - Forty-eight area residents were among the Spring graduates who received bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Illinois University at Macomb.

McLean County - Bloomington: Megan Hultgren, bachelor of science in education (non-teaching), law enforcement and justice administration; Lon Alderman, master of science, recreation, park, and tourism administration; and Joel Smith, master of arts, law enforcement and justice administration;

Colfax: Jeffrey Harris, bachelor of business, agricultural business;

Heyworth: Jason Rustemeyer, bachelor of business, agricultural business;

LeRoy: Nicole Thornton, bachelor of science in business teacher education, agriculture;

McLean: Kari Hester, bachelor of science in education (non- teaching), recreation, park, and tourism administration;

Normal: Thomas Benjamin, bachelor of science in teacher education, physical education; Jeffrey Marsh, bachelor of science in education (non-teaching), law enforcement and justice administration; and Cathy Nottoli, Board of Trustees/bachelor of arts.

Livingston County - Dwight: Hari Anderson, bachelor of science in education (non-teaching), law enforcement and justice administration;

Odell: Eddie Legner, magna cum laude, bachelor of business, finance;

Pontiac: Denise Molina, bachelor of arts in fine arts, broadcasting; Adam Munch, bachelor of business, finance; Denise Schulz, magna cum laude, bachelor of science in teacher education, special education; and Aaron Swenson, bachelor of science in education (non-teaching), law enforcement and justice administration;

Saunemin: Chris Klepp, bachelor of science in teacher education, elementary education.

Tazewell County - Delavan: Amy Lusher, bachelor of business, management; Staci Harper, master of science in educational and interdisciplinary studies, educational administration; James Russell, master of science in educational and interdisciplinary studies, educational administration; and Cindi Shepard, master of science in educational and interdisciplinary studies, educational administration.

Mackinaw: Blaine Gilbert, bachelor of science in education (non- teaching), exercise science and fitness; and Wendy Lisanby, magna cum laude, bachelor of science in arts and sciences, zoology;
