Isonics Homeland Security and Defense Corporation to Host Chemical/Homemade Explosive Detection Product Demo on August 2

WHO: Isonics Homeland Security and Defense Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Golden, Colorado based Isonics Corporation , offers a suite of detection products for chemical and homemade explosives, surveillance and security products and security personnel services. WHAT: First public demonstration of two new chemical and homemade explosive detection devices: * One unit is a portable panel-mounted detection unit that has applications in mailroom package screening, entry-point security screening for public buildings, and the unit has the flexibility to be mounted in vehicles or railway cars for on-board threat detection in mass transit applications. The unit works by rapidly analyzing the air inside a vehicle or within a package and alerting authorities if it detects the presence of a chemical warfare agent or homemade explosive. * The other unit is a handheld detection unit for law enforcement, security screeners and first responders.
