Reminder - American Pacific to Release Financial Results and Hold Investor Teleconference for Its 2006 Third Fiscal Quarter on Tuesday, August 1, 2006

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Pacific Corporation today announced that it will release its 2006 third fiscal quarter financial results on August 1, 2006. John R. Gibson, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, invites you to participate in a conference call where he will review the financial results and outlook of the Company.

The teleconference will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. PDT. To access the call please dial (973) 582-2841 and reference conference ID #7673337. Following a short presentation by Mr. Gibson there will be a Q&A session. Also present on the call will be Dana M. Kelley, Acting Chief Financial Officer.
