Ocean Waters, a resort management and hospitality investment firm, has acquired the 42-room LaBreeze Inn & Suites in Ormond Beach.
Ocean Waters operates more than 20 oceanfront hotels and resorts along the World's Most Famous Beach. Since 1998, the company has acquired more than 30 hotel sites and owns more than 2.4 miles of oceanfront on the 23-mile stretch that comprises Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and Daytona Beach Shores.
The LaBreeze Inn & Suites will continue to operate as a hotel.
Long-term, Ocean Waters has announced plans to redevelop the property as condominiums and enhanced beach access along the Atlantic Ocean.
"The LaBreeze purchase is part of our master plan for Ormond Beach and our efforts to beautify the oceanfront and provide first-class residential beach resorts. This acquisition is a critical asset to what Ormond Beach can be: the envy of the East Coast," said Ocean Waters Senior Vice President Doug Kosarek.
