Introducing MagnaVerno(TM) Revolutionary Soil Input: Fourteen Growers, Representing Over 80,000 Acres, Contract to Participate in MagnaVerno(TM) Grower Demonstration; More Growers Encouraged To Participate

Posted on: Thursday, 14 September 2006, 12:00 CDT

Fourteen growers collectively controlling 80,000+ acres from California to Mexico have signed on to participate in the demonstration project offered to potential customers of Super Absorbent Company (www.superabsorbent.com), manufacturers and marketers of the newly introduced MagnaVerno(TM) brand soil input for agricultural and horticultural markets. Preliminary results of product trials already attest to the power of MagnaVerno(TM) to significantly boost crop yield, lower costs and improve profitability for growers.

MagnaVerno(TM) is a starch-based superabsorbent that is extremely beneficial for growers. Its principal effect in agricultural applications is to allow crops and plants to fully and consistently access sources of water not normally available. MagnaVerno(TM) is a perfect fit for all growers, particularly in areas where inconsistent or limited water supplies jeopardize crop yield and/or quality.

Super Absorbent Company (SAC) accepted qualified growers of 5,000 acres or more of high yield row crops including tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, onions, strawberries and others in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico and Mexico to host demonstration sites for MagnaVerno(TM) and experience firsthand the product's performance benefits. The demonstration project includes test plots and control plots to accurately compare and validate results. SAC provides a qualified agronomist to monitor activities, insure proper application and use as well as document outcomes.

"We are very gratified by the immediate, overwhelming response to this no-risk demonstration program for qualified growers, further verifying market receptivity to our starch-based superabsorbents," says Phil Berlin, CEO of SAC. "Growers clearly see the potential for enjoying both the economic and environmental advantages of our products: improved soil fertility, increased crop yield, significant water conservation, reduced fertilizer usage, and reduced labor cost. The ultimate result is improved profitability for the grower."

The project will begin October 1, 2006, with the following crops represented by participating growers: Bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and string beans.

"This demonstration program will further confirm the immediate and long-term benefits of MagnaVerno(TM), including increased quantity and quality of crop yield, reduced water and fertilizer usage, improved plant and soil development - along with a healthier bottom line," continues Berlin. "When growers see with their own eyes the phenomenal results, not only will they be convinced but they will want to order MagnaVerno(TM) again and again."

To determine if you qualify for a MagnaVerno(TM) demonstration or to inquire about participating, call Richard Jarvis at 949-454-9333 or e-mail him at rjarvis@superabsorbent.com.

MagnaVerno(TM) holds more than 200 times its weight in water and water soluble plant nutrients, which it releases on demand, and is capable of sustaining multiple swell-shrink cycles depending upon its environment. Microorganisms feed off MagnaVerno(TM) causing biodegradation, which helps to enrich the soil and enhance aeration.
