Fire Burning at Calif. Fertilizer Plant

SUISUN CITY, Calif. - A fire burned early Friday at a massive fertilizer plant outside San Francisco, but it wasn't immediately known if the burning materials were toxic.
Firefighters were fighting the grass and structure fire that started about 5 a.m., the Solano County fire department said. The cause of the fire at EB Stone & Son, Inc. wasn't yet known.
The plant is in an unincorporated area about 45 miles northeast of San Francisco and near Travis Air Force Base.
