Dates and times for announcements of 2006 Nobel Prizes (all times EDT):
- Monday, Oct. 2: Physiology or medicine, no earlier than 5:30 a.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 3: Physics, no earlier than 5:45 a.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 4: Chemistry, no earlier than 5:45 a.m.
- Monday, Oct. 9: Economics, no earlier than 7 a.m.
- Friday, Oct. 13: Nobel Peace Prize, no earlier than 5 a.m.
- No date is set for the literature prize but it is likely to be Thursday, Oct. 5.
