WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Edens & Avant, one of the nation's leading private retail real estate companies, announced today the grand opening of The Shoppes at Ryan Park, a 100,000 square-foot neighborhood center in Loudoun County, Virginia, one of the fastest growing and most affluent counties in the nation.
The Shoppes at Ryan Park is located directly off the Dulles Greenway in Ashburn, VA, an area exploding with new development activity. The center is situated in the middle of Ryan Park Center, a mixed-use development consisting of The Home Depot, BeanTree Learning, a restaurant park and a 150,000 square- foot flex-office park projected to open early 2007. Additionally, Ryan Park Center is adjacent to Market Square at Loudoun Station, a 50-acre development that will one day operate as Ashburn's "New Downtown" and will include a future metro stop, up to 1,500 upscale condominiums and over 1 million square feet of Class-A office space.
"With the extensive development activity and exponential growth occurring around this site, The Shoppes at Ryan Park is consistent with our strategy to develop and own well-located projects," said Steve Boyle, Edens & Avant Vice President of Development in the Mid-Atlantic. "Giant Food's latest prototype will be attractive to residents living and moving into this market."
