PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Two Austrian students who are part of an international hospitality training program at Frenchman's Creek (http://www.frenchmanscreek.com/), the residential community known for impeccable concierge level service, will take time off this Sunday from honing their hospitality management skills to run in the marathon of the Palm Beaches -- for a worthy cause.
For every mile run by Alexander Rechberger and Fritz Gugg, who have also been using the community's Fitness Center to train for the marathon, Frenchman's Creek will make a charitable donation to Frenchman's Creek's annual charity days.
"Alex and I have received tremendous support for our training preparations from Frenchman's Creek and Executive Director Mr. Achal Goswami who suggested we direct our efforts to benefit charity," said Fritz Gugg.
Frenchman's Creek Charities Foundation Inc. raises money for worthy causes in Northern Palm Beach County including Palm Beach Gardens, Juno Beach and Jupiter. The committee of volunteers organizes a three-day schedule of events each year that includes a tennis tournament, kayaking, bridge games, golf tournaments, silent auction and a charity dinner.
Beneficiaries have included a Palm Beach Gardens day care program -- Alzheimer's Community Care, The Renaissance School for Autistic Children, the Alamanda School music program for children with special needs, the Jupiter Medical Center's Cardiac Rehab Center; hurricane damaged hospital facilities, the Connor Moran Children's Cancer Foundation and in Juno Beach, hurricane damaged town equipment.
