Hexion Announces Price Increases For Coating Resins In North America

Hexion Specialty Chemicals announced today that it will increase prices for its coating resin products effective January 15, 2007. The increase is effective for orders shipped on or after January 15, 2007.
Pricing per pound on the following resins will increase up to:
Liquid Polyester $0.10 Powder Polyester $0.08 Acrylics $0.05 Emulsions $0.05 Epoxy esters $0.10 Alkyds $0.06 UV Resins $0.06 Latex Modifiers $0.06
Continued cost increases for raw materials, energy and distribution necessitate the pricing adjustment, the company said.
