Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep run up the hillside in Rock Canyon in Utah County after being released by the Division of Wildlife Resources Monday. Utah is expected to receive up to 100 bighorns from neighboring states this winter. Some sheep were released last week east of Vernal. Besides the 30 sheep released near the mouth of American Fork Canyon, two dozen were released in Juab County. The releases are part of a program to increase the number of sheep into what was their native habitat.
