China Terminates Dumping Probes on Octanol Imports From Japan
January 31, 2007
Beijing, Jan. 31 (Jiji Press)–The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said Wednesday that it has terminated its dumping investigations into imports of octanol from Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and European Union nations.
The ministry made the decision because domestic industries have received no material damage from such imports of the chemical substance, it said.
The ministry launched the probes in September 2005. Octanol is used as a plasticizer for vinyl chloride.END
