Aberdeen: Disc Golf Tournament Saturday

Feb. 2–The 11th annual disc golf competition, the Frozen Tundra Challenge, is Saturday at the Richmond Lake Recreation Area, 10 miles northwest of Aberdeen.
Registration is from 10 to 11 a.m. with a tee-off time of 11:30 a.m. The first 25 entrants will receive a commemorative disc. A free chili feed will follow the competition.
The entry fee is $12 per player plus a donation of two cans of nonperishable food, which will be donated to The Salvation Army food bank.
Participants will play one round of 18 holes. Prizes will be awarded to the top three players and the one closest to the pin.
The tournament is sponsored by the Aberdeen Area Disc Golf Association and the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks.
A park entrance vehicle license is required.
