The third campaign will feature the marine environment ( especially important for the North-East with its high quality, designated coastlines .
Natural England believes the wildlife of the sea has not received the same attention as the mainland environment and needs a network of Marine Protected Areas to help safeguard the marine environment. “The North-East coast is extremely important and we will be examining what is there,” said Mr Howat.
