Water District to Hold Trout-Stocking Sale

WARREN – The Knox-Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District is holding its annual trout-stocking sale. Pond owners who hold a five- year rainbow trout permit can purchase disease-free, certified rainbow or brook trout.

Permits can be purchased from the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife at a cost of $10.

Order forms for the fish can be found at www.knox-lincoln.org. To receive forms by mail, contact Katherine Ward at 273-2005, ext. 101.

The pickup date will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Lincoln County Recycling Plant parking area, Hunton Road, Wiscasset, for Lincoln County residents or 1 p.m. at the USDA field office parking lot, 191 Camden Road, Warren, for Knox County residents.
