Posted on: Tuesday, 27 February 2007, 09:00 CST
FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. today announced the Frontier 710 Digital Lab System. Part of the award-winning Frontier Series of lab systems, the new Frontier 710 is a compact digital printer processor capable of producing up to 810 4R prints per hour.
The Frontier 710 can be installed in a 14 ft2space, offers a standard printing capacity of up to 24 inches in length, and features Fujifilm's Image Intelligence™ technology. Image Intelligence automatically compensates for problematic conditions such as poor lighting, backlighting and high contrast, as well as over- or under- exposure. The Frontier 710 also offers a "one-touch" replenishing chemistry system, using Fujifilm CP-49E chemistry, which further simplifies machine operation.
Customers may also add options such as; 36-inch paper advance (for print sizes up to 8" x 36"); the capability for up to three built-in paper magazines; and an automated quality control strip processing. The system also features imaging controller technology, that enables job prioritization of print orders to handle express orders.
The Frontier 710 image controller functionality is based on the Frontier PIC software technology, to offer optimum workflow efficiency and connectivity to Fujifilm GetPix kiosks and Internet photofinishing solutions.
The Frontier 710 supports the SP500 film scanner for efficient, automated 35mm film scanning, and is able to interface with to the SP3000 film scanner, allowing for scanning a wider range of formats including APS and medium-format films.
