Some Will Always Back Bush

As the negative news stories and questions from investigative committees of Congress envelop the Bush White House, it is apparent that the political movement to create a Republican majority for the foreseeable future is about to implode.
Just as Richard Nixon has his stalwarts who continue to defend him with vigor and as Joe “Tail Gunner” McCarthy is hailed as a hero by the wing-nut fringe, President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney will always have a small group who support their efforts to gut the Constitution and create a secretive, imperious presidency.
