Head of Rosprirodnadzor’s Khanty-Mansiisk Division Dismissed
MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) – Russia’s Natural Resources Minister Yury Trutnev has dismissed Ramil Chermakov from the duties of head of natural resources watchdog Rosprirodnadzor for the Khanty- Mansiisk Autonomous District, Rosprirodnadzor’s deputy head Oleg Mitvol announced.
“Chermakov neglected violations and, with a salary of 12,000 rubles, would travel on a jeep accompanied by two bodyguards,” Mitvol said commenting on the dismissal of the Rosprirodnadzor official in Russia’s main oil-producing region.
The vacancy has been filled by Vyacheslav Antipov, former head of Rosprirodnadzor’s oversight department for water resources and safety of hydro infrastructure.
