Chance to Tour Boats at Quay
A range of vessels will be open to the public on the banks of the River Tees this week.
The boats on display at the Castlegate Quay in Stockton tomorrow and again on Good Friday are used by the Adventure Youth Sea Training. They include the RNLI Princess Royal lifeboat, and community barge, the Angus Ferguson.
People can tour the boats and watch demonstrations on them between noon and 5pm on both days. For more information call 01642 608038.
Fabled display
AN EXHIBITION exploring historical fables and social traditions is at the Billingham Art Gallery. The five sets of prints produced by Brazilian artist Ana Maria Pacheco between 1989 and 1998 are on show until April 20. Admission is free.

Fish stocks boosted
MIDDLESBROUGH Angling Club has released its third consignment of fish into Redcar’s Locke Park lake to help restock the waters. The 1,000 fish, including carp and tench, were released on March 30 to join 1,000 other fish already thriving in the lake.
