African dairy producers to meet in Lusaka
LUSAKA, April 13 (Xinhua) — The Eastern and Southern African Dairy Association (ESADA) will next month hold its third African dairy conference and exhibition in Lusaka, Zambia Daily Mail reported Friday.
The meeting scheduled for May 16 to 18 at Taj Pamodzi hotel will offer opportunities for regional and international dairy stakeholders to interact with experts, practitioners, investors, researchers and policymakers.
The conference and exhibition is expected to attract over 300 professionals from all sectors of dairy industry.
Organizers hope the event will focus on technology as a tool to leapfrog African dairy to the world state.
Regional and international speakers will make presentations on a wide range of topics, including world dairy status review, emerging dairy sector in Africa and corporate governance in cooperative and corporate sectors.
