Shaw’s Adds Organic Dog and Cat Food To Its Supermarkets Throughout New England

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass., April 19 /PRNewswire/ — As of Saturday, April 21st, customers will be able to buy organic dog and cat food at all Shaw’s Supermarkets in New England. Shaw’s will be the first supermarket in the region to carry the full line of 16 products from Newman’s Own Organic pet food, in both dry and wet varieties.

“Pets are an important part of the family and we recognize that,” says Shaw’s president Carl Jablonski. “We have put tremendous focus on carrying a wide variety of organic foods for our customers and we’re happy to add organic pet foods to the mix.”

Newman’s Own Organic pet products are each made with a unique blend of proteins, whole grains, vitamins and minerals that maximize taste, digestibility, and nutrient absorption. The products are not made with: poultry by-products, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics, chemical additives, wheat or corn, artificial flavors, or artificial colors or dyes.

The product will be available starting April 21st and will be available in the pet food aisle.
