Blue-Sky Cleanup
April 20, 2007
BRUNSWICK – The winds had died in Glynn County, but the cleanup from weekend gusts continued Tuesday. Homeowners and work crews were piling up limbs and leaves felled by Sunday’s winds, which gusted up to 40 mph.
After carting off a fallen tree on Ellis Street, a Brunswick Public Works Department crew took down the water oak next to the stump. The fallen tree was thought to have partially uprooted the remaining tree, putting it in danger of falling in future winds.
