Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Announces Participation in Sessions at BIO 2007 International Convention

Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIPI) announced today that it will be participating in two panels at the upcoming Biotechnology Industry Organization International Convention, being held May 6-9, 2007 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

David S. Barlow, Chairman and CEO of Molecular Insight, will speak in a panel discussion titled, "On Becoming a Public Company: Most Everything You Really Need to Hear from the Executive, Operational and Legal Perspectives." Panelists will discuss the steps involved in preparing to become a public company, what to expect during the process and life following an IPO. This panel will take place on Tuesday, May 8th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room 204 AB.

John Babich, Ph.D., President and CSO of Molecular Insight, will chair a discussion titled, "Emerging Opportunities in Molecular Imaging: Sharper Images and Improving Outcomes." The panel will examine emerging imaging technologies that are transforming medicine, drug discovery and development; discuss the strengths and limitations of major imaging techniques; and explore the business landscape underlying the growth of imaging in the development of diagnostics and therapeutics. The session will take place Wednesday, May 9th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in room 253 C.
