May 18, 2007
STUDENTS were due to resume lectures today following a chemical scare at an Ayrshire college.
Nearly 30 people needed medical treatment after Kilmarnock College was evacuated amid reports of an “odorous irritant” in a stairwell yesterday, as reported in later editions of last night’s Evening Times.
A total of 29 people suffered nausea, sore throats and other symptoms during the scare in which more than 2300 staff and students were evacuated.
