Police Building Deteriorating

As I understand it, Mayor Rocky Anderson included a provision for the prosecution of “cold cases” in his budget. But the evidence from many of those “cold cases” could be at risk because of the deterioration of the building where they are stored — the Salt Lake City Police Department. There is evidence of water leakage, and a recent television broadcast mentioned the potential for damage.
No mention was made of those things in the mayor’s provision.
