‘Nemos’ Can Find Home

BABY clownfish swept into the ocean – like the lovable Disney character Nemo – really can find their way home.

Scientists in a marine protected area in Papua New Guinea found that coral fish will return to their native reef by using a homing sensor.

They reported 60 per cent of the juvenile fish returned to the home reef – a tiny dot in the ocean only 300 metres across.
