Flood Warning for Portions of Sedgwick, Butler Counties

Jun. 1–The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Cowley County, southeastern Sedgwick County and southern Butler County until 11:15 a.m.
Law enforcement officials have reported scattered road closings in the warning area due to runoff from heavy rains overnight.
A flash flood watch has been issued through late tonight for much of the Wichita area and portions of southeast Kansas. Counties in the watch area include Butler, Cowley, Harper, Kingman, Sedgwick and Sumner. More heavy rain is anticipated from thunderstorms that will pass through the area today.
