DWR and the State Water Board Set Workshops for Prop 50 Integrated Regional Water Management Grants

The Department of Water Resources (DWR) and the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) have scheduled two applicant workshops to discuss the Step 1 Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) for Round 2, Proposition 50, Chapter 8, Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Grant Program.

DWR and State Water Board staff will be available during the hours listed below to answer specific questions regarding the application preparation and submission process. DWR will be scheduling future meetings to discuss the Step 2 application process.

Northern California Step 1 Workshop

July 10, 2007 -- 9 a.m. until Noon

Southern California Step 1 Workshop

July 12, 2007 -- 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The Department of Water Resources operates and maintains the State Water Project, provides dam safety and flood control and inspection services, assists local water districts in water management and water conservation planning, and plans for future statewide water needs.
