Jul. 7–DURHAM — Durham’s water supply has been holding up despite the dry weather, city officials said.

According to the city’s Department of Water Management, Durham’s water sources at Lake Michie and Little River Reservoir are just a few feet below normal and have 163 days worth of water, based on current demand.

Durham residents are asked to continue Stage 1 conservation methods, which include reducing or eliminating unnecessary water use.
