Windswept Environmental Group, Inc. Announces the Signing of a Contract With Battelle Memorial Institute for Testing of Its Improved Decontamination Process

HOLTSVILLE, N.Y., July 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Windswept Environmental Group, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: WEGI) announced today that its subsidiary, Trade-Winds Environmental Restoration, has entered into a contract with Battelle Memorial Institute for technical and research services related to Trade-Winds’ improved decontamination process that it has used successfully to remediate anthrax.

This work is part of Trade-Winds Technology Development Program (TDP) which is a comprehensive effort that is overseen by Michael O’Reilly. TDP’s mission is to develop and advance Trade-Winds’ capabilities in specialized areas such as anthrax decontamination, and to solidify Trade-Winds’ position as a leader in first response services.
