Cannon Makes Utah Look Bad

Lately, Utah becomes diminished and demeaned whenever Rep. Chris Cannon speaks. It is a plain embarrassment that is hard to bear. This past Sunday on the Fox network he outdid all of his recent inanities. When discussing the firing of U.S. Attorney David Iglesias, Cannon blurted out “No, no, he was fired because he is an idiot.” That statement is an entirely unhinged and irresponsible comment that is unconnected from reality.
At a minimum, Utah’s Republican majority deserves competent representation. Rep. Cannon simply does not fit the bill.
