By Bea Smith BEACH CITY -- Robert E. "Slats" Slayman, 80, of Beach City, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at Mercy Hospital, Canton, following a brief illness. He was born at Beach City, the son of the late Harry D. and Nellie M. Bratton Slayman and had been a life resident of Beach City.

- An unlawful breach of duty on the part of a ship's master or crew resulting in injury to the ship's owner.
