Jacobs Receives Facility Operating Services Contract at NASA's Stennis Space Center

PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today that it received a contract from NASA to provide facility operations services at Stennis Space Center (SSC), near Bay St. Louis, Miss.
With a maximum potential value of $561 million, the 10-year cost-plus-incentive-fee contract has a three-year base period with seven potential one-year award terms.
Through this contract, Jacobs will provide facility engineering, maintenance and operations, and institutional services to support NASA's missions at SSC. They will also support programs for more than 30 other Federal and state agencies located at SSC that share and utilize the Center's facilities and services.

Jacobs currently supports SSC through the Test Operations Contract, with responsibility for test planning and test operations; test facility management, design, modification, and operation; technology development and insertion; and maintenance. They also hold major contracts at seven other NASA sites: Johnson Space Center (Texas), Marshall Space Flight Center (Ala.), Langley Research Center (Va.), White Sands Test Facility (N.M.), Ames Research Center (Calif.), Kennedy Space Center (Fla.), and Glenn Research Center (Ohio).
