Russian Space Industry Output Grows 15% in 2004

MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) – Russian space industry enterprises have increased their output by 15% this year, head of the Federal Space Agency Anatoly Perminov said on Tuesday.
“The space industry will finish the year 2004 with good results. Output has grown by 15%, and labor productivity by 16.3%. Average monthly wages amounted to 7,892 rubles ($284),” Perminov told a news conference in Moscow.
At the same time, the industry still has problems. “There are several serious enterprises whose financial and economic performance causes our concern,” Perminov said.
