Russian Space Agency Approves Plan for Jan-March Space Launches

MOSCOW. Jan 13 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Space Agency has approved a plan for space launches in the first quarter of 2005, agency press secretary Vyacheslav Davidenko told Interfax on Thursday.
"Seven rockets will be launched in the first three months of the year 2005. They will put eight spacecraft and satellites into circumterrestrial orbits," he said.
"Units of the Federal Space Agency and Space Troops are preparing to launch Soyuz, Proton, RS-20 and Cosmos rockets from the Baikonur and Plesetsk spaceports," Davidenko said.
