CANOGA PARK, Calif., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, a United Technologies Corp. company, was selected yesterday as the 2007 recipient of the prestigious George M. Low Award, large business-product category. This award is NASA's premier quality-performance award for prime and support contractors and subcontractors, and signifies NASA's recognition of PWR's demonstrated excellence and outstanding achievement in quality and performance.

"PWR is committed to providing flawless mission support and striving for 100 percent customer satisfaction. We have a long history of supporting NASA with outstanding propulsion and power systems products, and we look forward to this continued partnership as we prepare to return to the moon and explore our solar system."

The award, which is managed by NASA's Office of Safety and Mission Assurance, is named for former NASA deputy administer George M. Low, who greatly contributed to the early development of NASA space programs during his 27 years of government service.
