Space Capsule Lands 260 Miles Off-Target

A Russian space capsule carrying the International Space Station crew and a South Korean astronaut landed 260 miles off target in Kazakhstan, officials said.
RIA Novosti reported Saturday the Soyuz-TMA-11 capsule carried U.S. astronaut Peggy Whitson, Russian flight engineer Yury Malenchenko and South Korean bioengineer Yi So-yeon.
After 12 days in space, the capsule landed in northern Kazakhstan without incident, the Russian Federal Space Agency said.
South Korea’s Yonhap news agency noted Yi, a 29-year-old bio-systems engineer, is the first South Korean to go into orbit and the 49th woman to reach space.
