Russia Launches Three Military Satellites

A Rokot carrier rocket with three Ministry of Defence satellites and the small space apparatus Yubileynyy has lifted off from Plesetsk cosmodrome, the head of the Russian Space Troops press service, Aleksey Zolotukhin, told RIA Novosti.
"The launch was carried out in standard mode at a designated time," he said.
The designation of the three military satellites has not been reported.
With the help of equipment installed on Yubileynyy, which will be placed into orbit as an incidental payload, radio enthusiasts around the world will be able to receive information about the history of space exploration and the achievements of Russian cosmonautics.
