CHICAGO, June 26 /PRNewswire/ — A recent TripAdvisor.com survey showed 90 percent of Americans are still planning summer vacations, with 71 percent of respondents anticipating flying to their destinations. Rising travel costs, and tighter budgets, however, call for less expensive, more creative options.

Travel experts at GO Airport Shuttle, the nation’s largest ground transportation company, suggest enhancing a summer getaway by choosing a destination that coincides with local summer festivals.

“Festivals augment a vacation and many come free of charge or at bargain rates,” says John McCarthy, president, GO Airport Shuttle.
