If you plan to attend the Westmoreland Arts and Heritage Festival this evening or this weekend, organizers are asking that you use a shuttle bus service.

Due to large crowds, it’s difficult to find parking spaces at or near Twin Lakes Park, said Stacy Rosa, spokeswoman for the festival.

So she’s asking that people utilize the shuttle from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg to attend the event, which continues through Sunday.

Buses run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, with the last shuttle leaving for the festival at 7 p.m. Wheelchair accessible vans are also available.

Cost is $2 per round trip. Children under 10 ride for free.

The campus is located along Mt. Pleasant Road in Hempfield Township, about one mile from the Greensburg-Mt. Pleasant Road exit of Route 30.
