Jules Verne to Undock From Iss in Early September

MOSCOW. Aug 28 (Interfax-AVN) – The first European space freighter, Jules Verne, will undock from the International Space Station (ISS) on September 5.

The spacecraft will have a three week autonomous voyage before entering the dense layers of the atmosphere on September 29. Later on that day it will crash in a designated area of the Pacific Ocean, the Federal Space Agency website said on Thursday.

The European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA will be photographing and filming the descent from two points. The photographs and videos will be available on the ESA website.
