Glen Burnie East: Flea Market, Crafts Fair Coming

October is shaping up as prime time for shoppers looking to make a deal with at least one flea market and a craft fair coming to the area.
A flea market to benefit the Pinewoods East Residents’ Council will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at 7900 Benesch Circle, behind the Villages at Marley Station apartments.
In addition to a wide variety of items offered by vendors, the council will sell coffee, doughnuts, lunches, baked goods and raffle tickets for a 50-50 and to win a quilt.
The flea market will be held rain or shine, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available.
Members of the general community can rent an outdoor space for $5.

Craft vendors wanted
Harundale Presbyterian Church’s Presbyterian Women’s group is recruiting vendors for its craft fair that will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 25 at the church at 1020 Eastway.
This year the group is offering both indoor and outdoor spaces.
The fee for an 8-foot indoor space with a table and chairs will be $20. Each additional space a vendor rents will be $10.
The fee for a 10-square-foot outdoor space with chairs will be $20. Additional outdoor spaces will be $10 each. Outdoor vendors must supply their own tables and canopies.
The Presbyterian Women will sell lunches and baked goods and sponsor a Santa’s workshop, where children can shop privately for holiday gifts for their families.
Funds raised by the fair will help support the group’s various mission projects.

GBHS reunions
Glen Burnie High School’s Class of 1953 will hold its 55-year reunion from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Hellas Restaurant, 8498 Veterans Highway in Millersville.
Tickets are $45.
