‘Beyond Mars’ Topic of Bangor Lecture

BANGOR – 2008 Solar System Ambassador Donald Aucoin, appointed by NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Bangor Public Library Lecture Hall. The topic will be “Beyond Mars: The Search for Life,” with revelations about Cassini’s Saturn discoveries and consideration of whether we may have been looking for life in the wrong places. A discussion will follow.

Aucoin will present “Hubble’s Secrets Revealed and What’s Next” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6. For information, call 947-8336.
